mybabe ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our pregnancy and baby tracking mobile application and related features (including diary logs, optional medication reminders, subscription management, and community forum).

Data We Collect

1. Authentication and profile

  • Email address and credentials: When you create an account, we use Supabase Auth for secure sign-in (email and password). Passwords are handled by the authentication provider using industry-standard practices; we do not store your password in plain text.
  • Display name: Optional name shown in your profile and in the forum.

2. Pregnancy and baby tracking

  • App state: Such as whether you are tracking pregnancy or a born baby, last menstrual period date, birth date, and optional baby gender information you choose to enter.

3. Diary logs

  • Log content: Titles, notes, tags, timestamps, and period type (pregnancy vs. baby) you save in the diary.
  • Photos: Optional images you attach may be uploaded to our cloud storage and linked from your log entries.

4. Medication reminders

  • Medication and intake data: Medication names, schedules, and intake records you add in the app are stored to power reminders and history.
  • Local notifications: If you grant permission, the operating system may show scheduled reminders on your device. Notification content is processed locally as far as your device and OS allow.

5. Subscription and purchase information

  • Subscription status: To determine whether your Premium subscription is active and to manage purchase and restore flows, we may process necessary technical information such as subscription status, product identifiers, transaction information, renewal status, and cancellation status.
  • Payment information: Payments are processed by the Apple App Store. We do not directly collect or store your credit card or similar payment details.

6. Community forum

  • Posts and replies: Thread titles and bodies, replies, timestamps, and optional images you publish are stored and associated with your account identifier and display name as shown to other users.

7. Device permissions

  • Photo library: Access only if you choose to pick or save photos, subject to your OS permission settings.
  • Notifications: Used only to schedule medication-related reminders when you enable them.

How We Use Your Data

  • Provide core app features, sync your data across devices when you are signed in, and maintain your account.
  • Verify Premium subscription status and manage purchase and restore flows.
  • Display forum content to other users according to the product design.
  • Improve reliability and security of the service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests where applicable.

The app is not a medical service and does not replace professional healthcare advice. Avoid entering highly sensitive clinical information you are not comfortable storing digitally.

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage. Supabase processes data on our behalf as an infrastructure provider. Their privacy practices are described here: supabase.com/privacy.

We may use Adapty to verify subscription status, manage purchase and restore flows, and provide Premium access. Adapty may process necessary technical data related to subscription and purchase status on our behalf. Their privacy practices are described here: adapty.io/privacy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing.

Data Storage and Security

  • Data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) where applicable.
  • Access to your cloud-backed data is tied to your authenticated account and our backend access controls.
  • Technical information related to subscription status may be retained as needed to provide Premium access and support legal or financial record requirements.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to follow reasonable industry practices.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and KVKK where applicable), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. You may also be able to delete or edit certain content directly in the app where the feature is available.

Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account or request deletion where supported, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.

The service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries where Supabase, Adapty, or our subprocessors operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
